VANK is a Polish company dedicated to designing and producing furniture made with sustainable and circular materials. Their products were used in the renovation of two floors in the Concordia Design building in central Poznań, a project by Bidermann + Wide.
The building was originally erected in 1910 and repurposed a hundred years later. The architects of the two-floor renovation retained 95% of all the original floors of the project surface and used only local materials and designs for all additions to the space, including those by VANK.

Within the coworking space, there are well-equipped common areas, kitchen, chill-out rooms, and conference rooms. The facility is equipped with several VANK products for acoustic improvement.
The FLAT ACOUSTIC PODS FOR 1 for telephone and video conferences were placed in the common areas, and there are VANK_COLUMN_BIO panels in the meeting rooms.
These pods block outside noise and suppress the sound generated inside thanks to the special design and the use of sound-absorbing materials. FLAT panels with their three-dimensional structure act as diffusers to break up sound waves, bringing well-being to the office.
VANK BIO acoustic panels are made from a biocomposite based on fibrous plants, like flax and hemp.

FLAT ACOUSTIC PODS FOR 1. The ELLIPSE BIO box is an acoustic mobile pod, within which outside noise can be blocked thanks to the sound-absorbing materials of its walls. It is made with ELLIPSE panels that break up sound waves. The module is made with biocomposites and nonwoven rPET.
The pods come in many combinations: with one or two glass walls, with the body featuring the ellipse pattern on two sides side or one side only (the other is upholstered in plain fabric). The outer left wall of the pod is finished with a system of modules for growing air-purifying potted plants.
All VANK acoustic pods can be moved freely at any time — and disassembled and assembled back if necessary. This is possible thanks to the castors fixed to the base and the heavy-duty design — suitable for repeated assembly.

ELLIPSE_COLUMN ACOUSTIC WALL PANELS use renewable, recycled and bio-based materials in the filling and shape of each module, designed to provide sound attenuation and make rooms soundproof. The Mili Młodzi Ludzie design studio created their 3D rounded shape.
