Private and Public Spas for Cottages in Allgäu Parc | Alpha Wellness Sensations

This new wing of the Allgäu Center Parcs park is designed as a spa and country club facility, fully equipped by the Belgian wellness manufacturer Alpha Wellness Sensations, which provided the holiday center with over 250 saunas and other wellness products.

Eleven varieties of Alpha Wellness Sensations rooms were installed in the park: seven types of sauna, one relaxation room, a wet massage room, a Rasul room, and a steam room.

Three of the cottage types have bespoke private saunas for their guests.

These three types of Finnish saunas share a finished inside with pinewood in light colors, combined with Chaleur-type benches in ayous wood. The outside finish is in black anthracite laminate, with a glass front with an aluminum frame. The sauna is controlled by a push button and there is LED lighting behind the backrests and beneath the benches. All their ovens are concealed behind the benches.

The Exclusive Cottages are fit with Finnish saunas for six people. They have 9 kW sauna ovens, and a standard width of 250 centimeters, 190 cm depth, and a height of 220 cm.

The VIP Cottages have Finnish saunas for four people, with the same pinewood finish inside, which is also used in the outside finish of the VIP and Exclusive cottages. Unlike the Exclusive Cottages, these saunas have a 6 kW sauna oven and dimensions of 220 centimeters in width by 180 cm in depth and 205 cm in height. Finally, the Wellness Cottage sauna, also for four people, has a 9 kW sauna oven in a room that is 210 centimeters wide, 270 cm deep, and 220 high. All its other features are the same as those of the other two Finnish saunas.

The public saunas of the resort are spread across the Spa and between the pools and the treatment rooms.

The Abstracto Sauna, next to the subtropical indoor swimming pool, views it through a double toughened glass.

Inside, white aspen wood is shaped into abstract forms between the walls and the ceiling. Three tiers of Chaleur-type benches fit into the irregular shape of the room in ayous timber, around the central 36 kW sauna oven. There is indirect LED RGB lighting on the walls, the benches, and the ceiling, and a 36 kW sauna oven with 80°C programmed temperature.

The Bio Sauna with ergonomic loungers is equipped with customized adjustable footrests.

The ceiling is made of oak heartwood segments of varying thickness and its walls are covered in rough salt tiles of 20 by 20 centimeters. There is LED RGB lighting behind the salt stones and the ceiling. The atmosphere in the room is automatically regulated to keep a 60°C temperature and 50% humidity with electronic sensors. The 12 kW sauna oven with evaporator function is concealed behind a wall for safety.

The Kelo sauna is the hottest Alpha Wellness Sensations feature of the project, with an interior temperature of 110°C. Its dark grey kelo logs cover the inside walls, while the backrests and benches are made in thermo-treated ayous timber. There is LED lighting under the benches, behind the backrests and lamps, and LED RGB lighting above the 36 kW sauna oven, which is concealed behind non-flammable boards and Kelo wood.

The panoramic sauna has views of the mountains through two of its window walls, in the corner of which the 36 kW sauna oven is concealed behind hand-cut stone strips. The benches are arranged in the opposite corner in three tiers of hemlock wood profiles, in which the interior walls are also covered. The wall and oven are surrounded by blue stone strips and there is a wooden door with a double-toughened glass window. The sauna has a 90°C programmed temperature and LED RGB lighting beneath the benches.

The next unit installed is a Rasul designed in a cylindrical form, with EPS walls covered with tiles of different widths and heights. The curved marble seats have been divided by a glass partition, and a decorative pedestal has a built-in steam outlet and fresh air inlet, equipped with a LED ball. RGB LED spots and LED strips were installed behind the glass partitions and on the ceiling.

The domed ceiling is finished in decorative epoxy and indirect lighting, It has a 15kW steam generator with a fragrance injection pump and a controlled atmosphere with 40°C temperature and 100% relative humidity.

The relaxation room is a cave with EPS walls and a controlled temperature of 50°C, reinforced and coated with cement and glass fiber for waterproofness, and finished in a white shiny decorative layer. The 7.5 kW sauna oven is surrounded by a decorative pedestal, coated with white cement paint. It has a salt infusion system with essences for dry rooms, as well as LED RGB indirect lighting in the ceiling and plinths.

The steam room measures 505 cm W x 365 cm D x 280 cm H, with walls of cement-coated EPS and tile finish and a central bed of white marble. The room has a 30 cm domed ceiling, same as the Rasul, with decorative epoxy and indirect lighting, and curved EPS benches finished with marble. The decorative pedestal has a built-in steam outlet and fresh air inlet, with LED lighting. The 5 kW steam generator has a fragrance injection pump and a controlled temperature of 45°C with 100% humidity.

The last feature is the wet massage room, with walls constructed of cement-coated EPS finished with mosaic tiles. The treatment table is equipped with electrical heating and a Corian® top, alongside a built-in hand shower.
