Compact Sectional Doors at Parking Garage | Rolflex

Rolflex specializes in manufacturing made-to-measure compact folding doors. Compact sectional doors from Rolflex were used in the Vijzelgracht, a parking garage located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This project is a fully automated parking garage under the Vijzelgracht that offers 270 parking spaces. Six Compact sectional doors were installed in the lift houses, which are an important link in the use of the garage. Residents and employees of the surrounding companies can use the car park.

To park here, people drive in, enter the postal code and license plate number, and then the door closes. Then the parking system finds a spot where the car can park. It can take a maximum of six minutes to get the car back afterward.

The Vijzelgracht parking garage features multiple Full-vision Compact sectional doors with wicket doors. Designed to fold into narrow spaces, these doors are an ideal fit for areas such as lifts. The glass panels on these sectional doors create a modern aesthetic, seamlessly complementing the overall look of the lift houses.

The seamless integration of the Compact folding system and its painted elements ensures these doors blend harmoniously with the lift houses. Each of the three lift houses incorporates Compact doors on both sides, simplifying easy access for driving vehicles through the front door after parking.
