More about this product

Fiandre is a leading company in the production of high-range full-body porcelain ceramic surfaces. HQ. Resin Maximum porcelain stoneware ceramic surfaces from Fiandre were used in the Terminal Amerigo Vespucci in the Civitavecchia cruise port, located in Rome, Italy.

The cruise port boasts the presence of the Terminal Amerigo Vespucci, a building equipped with the most modern control services for passengers and baggage. The 60 control stations, which can easily transform into 120, allow to embark about 5000/6000 people and disembark the same number of passengers. Indeed, the terminal aims to make as fast as possible the check-in operations.

Terminal Ameriggo Vespucci Terminal Ameriggo Vespucci

The project, conceived by Vicini Architects, proposes the perimeter walls as continuous, floor-to-ceiling glass ribbons, to connect as much as possible with the superb context, making the presence of the sea on both sides almost tangible.

For the floor finishing, HQ. Resin Maximun porcelain stoneware ceramic surfaces were used. This product resembles the resin’s appearance and features. The special format 100x100 cm of the slabs in brown burnished color emphasizes the continuity of the wide, extensive open layout practically without signs of interruption and an excellent result of uniformity.
