Installation
The visually roof-integrated solution means that the panels are mounted flat and parallel to the roof, requiring no elevated system. This works by using the specially developed seam and module clamp which is attached to the double-standing seam. This simultaneously fixes the frameless solar modules to the double-standing seam covering, which is matched to the shear widths of the roofing.
PV Modules Designed to Match RHEINZINK Roofs
RHEINZINK offers PV modules that can fit roof coverings that use the double-standing seam system. To match them perfectly, it is important to choose the right panel width. Suitable PV modules for RHEINZINK double-standing seam roofs include the 530 mm (600 mm belt), and the 430 mm (500 mm belt) modules. (Dimensions are measured from center to center). This ensures that modules are precisely installed in the specific seam arrangement.
