Access Control in Miba Forum Building | dormakaba

The new Miba Forum is the headquarters for the Miba Group. The layout of the space uses an open-plan design to encourage collaboration, innovation, and creativity. Holistic access management solutions from dormakaba were installed in the space. The scope of solutions included intelligent access management, seamless integration into existing systems, and open boundaries for maximum transparency.

System Design & Solutions

• An automatic sliding door system was installed at the entrance. The transparent, and large design creates a comforting and welcoming threshold. The ES 200 modular sliding door operator meets the security requirements according to DIN 18650/EN 16005. The Argus HSB sensor airlocks blend harmoniously into the architecture while providing additional security in the internal area
  
  
• The building's access is managed via the online access control system, exos 9300. This allows management to coordinate all access permissions in a comprehensive manner with flexibility for many locations
  
  
• The log system for employees, dormakaba Terminal 9700 is seamlessly integrated into the same medium used to operate access readers and digital components
  
  
• The postbox and locker cabinets are secured with electronic access readers, which can only be opened with an authorized card. This protects valuable objects and confidential documents from unauthorized access
