D5 Render offers D5 GI (Global Illumination), a solution used in 3D computer graphics to simulate real-life lighting interactions by calculating both direct and indirect light sources. The technology is responsible for the fidelity of lighting in scenes assisting with the tedious nature usually found in attempting to reach photorealism in renders.

D5 GI is developed by the D5 Team to bring higher photorealism while ensuring a smooth and stable real-time rendering experience. It applies advanced algorithms including ReSTIR and Surfel to provide sufficient lighting even deep inside the interior space.
Details of high-frequency GI/skylight scenes are retained, so the scenes are rendered with more accurate lighting and finer details. The transmission effect of foliage is also optimized to give leaves a clearer look.
Lighting Set-up
Using the D5 GI requires no additional configuration process. The D5 GI is enabled as soon as you open a scene. Turning to a more advanced GI solution is a tried-and-true method to effortlessly take renderings up a notch. Interior scenes with little or even no artificial lighting can already look stunning and convincing, with D5 GI. The need to manually add hundreds of light sources to an interior space is mitigated with D5 Render.
Lights that can be used include regular light sources of Point Light, Spotlight, Strip Light, and Rectangular Light as well as Stage Light and Projector. It is not unusual to see emissive materials used as light sources, D5 has optimized the emissive effect to add to the accuracy and details of the lighting in a scene.

Rendering with D5
D5 renders faster than almost all other rendering software solutions while offering a high-performing outcome. The render is created in real-time with minimal lag.
D5 can also accommodate models where lighting is added to the scene within the modeling software. D5 offers Livesync plugins for
