More about this product

The new Johnnie Walker Experience, situated in Edinburgh acts as a bar, brand museum, and tourist attraction, filled with a variety of interactions spanning over eight floors. An essential part of the experience is the bold interior design, completed by EZ Concept. Studco’s EzyJamb and AccessDor systems were used to create the minimalist door and access panel openings, to complement the modern sleek interiors.

Reasons for Choosing Studco

  • Needing to accommodate heavy foot traffic of tour groups, it was integral to ensure spacious passages and stops were accomplished. The doors were designed without architraves as a solution, this was accomplished by installing custom AccessDors that are hidden along wall faces, as they sit perfectly level with the wall and are painted in a matching tone.
  • Designed with versatility in mind, the versatile systems of EzyJambs and AccessDors allowed the architects to frame each opening in a precise manner.
  • The discreet design of the minimalist framework ensures that they blend well into their surroundings, not diverting attention from the different centerpieces in various spaces.
  • When desired, the architectural openings also serve as visual keystones. An example of this is the AccessDor framed doors that are completed with the Johnnie Walker logo strewn across the facade.
