This collection, designed by Timo Ripatti and developed by Axolight, is the means through which the company turns to the world of design to exhibit its concept of light. Hence the name Manifesto.
Light escapes the physical boundaries of the fixture trying to contain it, and traces the ultra-physical perimeter of the object by casting a circular halo. Manifesto’s clear abstractionist and neoplasticist inspiration – are characterized by stylistic audacity and aesthetic balance. In Axolight’s vision, the lamp body represents the physical extension of the design, while the light is the ‘ultra-physical’ one.
Manifesto is a wall and ceiling lamp with a diameter of about 61 cm, entirely constructed in metal. It generates a flow of indirect light of about 2020 Lumen. It contains dimmable LED sources with a total power of about 18,2W, with a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 90. The LED driver and dimmer are installed in the lamp body. The lamp can be fixed directly to the wiring system (ceiling/wall version) or an electric outlet (plug-in version).
