Solar facades from SolarLab invisibly integrate on-site energy production in the skin of the building and replaces both traditional facade cladding and unattractive rooftop PV installations. The custom-designed solar facades offer design freedom to select panelisation and mounting geometry as well as color, finish, and texture.

System - Skin

Skin is a facade system with a minimal build height and uniform flat outer surface. Panel dimensions, tiling, finish, texture, and color are completely customizable to integrate seamlessly into any facade.

Finishes

  • Satin
    Satin finish, matt, and glare-free tempered glass are available in a range of anisotropic and non-isotropic structural color coatings as well as ceramic frits. The satin finish provides a dynamic and muted color expression and a very low-maintenance and resilient facade surface.
  • Crystal
    Ultra-clear and crystal finished tempered glass provides crisp and precise reflections, available in a range of printed frit print colors, but more often used without color coatings to enhance light harvesting and provide a uniform deep black facade.
