Outdoor Seating - Urban Islands | mmcité

Urban islands are large Islands for sitting, the middle-height one serves to lay a laptop, the highest one as a backrest. The unique shape is based on simple geometry with several oval shapes and three levels of horizontal surfaces. Modules can stand alone or be linked in a playful archipelago. An intersection of shapes, various orientations of wooden panels, and different colors of corpuses complete the overall effect.

The wood on the horizontal surfaces may be replaced with high-pressure laminate (HPL) with smooth surfaces, color, and graphic diversity creating yet a different graphic character. The possibility for combination is wide enough to satisfy any creative architect who desires something new and unusual for a project.
