Concrete is one of the most commonly used building materials in the built environment. Although incredibly versatile, concrete provides little in the way of sound absorption. With their new concrete veneer Hunter Douglas Architectural made it now possible to create a stunning industrial look for ceilings without compromising on acoustics.
Concrete Veneer is an innovative new product that combines two key elements: the perforated MDF core plate is given a finely perforated 1.5mm cement veneer, creating an aesthetic finish that absorbs ambient noise and is indistinguishable from conventional concrete.
