More about this product

Goppion designs, develops and builds display cases and museum installations. The company works with curators and exhibit designers to develop solutions to individual projects with a collaborative approach.

L-Class are vertical and horizontal glass box display cases with high airtightness opened by lifting.

Humidity control

The base of the display cases that incorporate a passive relative humidity control system consists of two plinths that are separated to accommodate the equipment. When the case includes an active relative humidity control system or a more complex microclimate apparatus, only one plinth can be used in the base.

Types

Lv1 Vertical Lifting with actuators (medium lift)
Lh1 Horizontal Lifting with actuators (medium lift)
Lv2 Vertical Lifting with nested telescopic screws (high lift)
Lh2 Horizontal Lifting with simple screws (medium-high lift)
Lh3 Horizontal Lifting with nested telescopic screws (high lift)
Lv3 Vertical Lifting with pantographs (extra high lift)
Lh4 Horizontal Lifting with pantographs (high lift)

Lv1 and Lh1 types
These cases have a display area enclosed by a glass box that can be lifted using electromechanical or hydraulic actuators. Actuators are best suited to lifting reasonably light boxes that do not require a great deal of travel.

The system is recommended for smaller or lighter hoods that require only moderate movement. The actuators on the corners of the hood lift all four sides, providing access to the entire display area.

Lv2 type
These vertical cases have a glass box that can be lifted using telescopic screws which occupy little space and offer substantial travel. The four screws provide access to all sides of the display deck. This system is appropriate when vertical travel greater than the height of the base is desired and is suitable for large exhibition spaces.

Lh2 type
These horizontal cases have a display area enclosed by a glass box that can be lifted using simple screws, which occupy little space and offer substantial travel. A simple screw system is recommendable for small display cases, especially narrow ones whose lids do not need to be lifted very high, and when it is important to be able to reach the display deck from all four sides. When fully open, the clearance available is 70% of the height of the base.

For small, shallow display cases, sometimes the glass box can be lifted with a single screw to give unimpeded access to all four sides of the display deck.

Lh3 type
These cases have a display area enclosed by a glass box that can be lifted using telescopic screws for when the box needs to be lifted more than the height of the base. The use of four screws provides unimpeded access to all four sides of the display deck. Suitable for large exhibition spaces.

Lv3 type
These vertical cases have a display area enclosed by a glass box that can be lifted using synchronized, high-extension pantographs. Housed in the display case’s base, pantographs ensure that the glass box can be raised a distance higher than the height of the base. The opening procedure requires no significant side clearance and causes no vibrations. This system is best suited for when the display deck needs to be accessed only from the two long sides and is ideal for large exhibition spaces.

Lh4 type
These horizontal cases have a display area enclosed by a glass box that can be lifted using synchronized, high-extension pantographs. Housed in the display case’s base, pantographs ensure that the glass box can be raised a distance higher than the height of the base itself. The opening procedure requires no significant side clearance and causes no vibrations. This system is most suitable when the display deck needs to be accessed only from the two long sides and is ideal for large exhibition spaces.

Sustainability

Goppion uses ecologically-correct methods and makes efforts to use sustainable materials as well as research new materials and manufacturing processes with low environmental impacts. Goppion designs cases to last over time to reduce the need for replacement and recycling of industrial products.
