UseWall, roof, ceiling, dry flooring, floating dry screed, collar beam sheating, timber frame and engineered wood construction and refurbishment
ApplicationsPrefabricated and passive house construction, Industrial Buildings
CharacteristicsHigh static load-bearing capacity, stiffness, air tightness, vapour barrier, high raw density, edge stability, optimised tongue and groove profile, floor to ceiling formats, formaldehyde-free glued
The EGGER OSB 4 TOP is the ideal material type for all structural applications in new construction, redevelopment and renovation projects. EGGER OSB boards are multilayer boards with a three-layer structure of micro-veneers, so called strands, which are approved for load-bearing construction. The special strand geometry and strand orientation in the surface layers, as well as the low-emission glueing, ensure the best technical properties. The tongue and groove profile of the EGGER OSB 4 TOP flooring boards features improved accuracy of fit and is also suitable for large point loads due to the hight inherent stability.
- 3-in1-function: creating air tightness, integrating a vapour barrier, and achieving the stiffening of the structure
- Floor-to-ceiling format for maximum flexibility in construction
- Optimised tongue and groove profile for secure and precise installation
As a popular design element, polished OSB boards can also be used as visible sheathing. Especially for decorative purposes, the EGGER OSB 4 TOP convinces with its bright and uniform appearance. Its bright glaze adds to a pleasant atmosphere.
