EGGER Ergo Board is an edge-profiled construction board developed for drywall and interior construction applications. The board combines low weight with structural performance and is manufactured using a formaldehyde-free bonding system.
The board format, with a width of 600 mm and a weight below 12 kg, supports installation by a single person. The circumferential shiplap and tongue-and-groove profile, together with the integrated nail grid, contribute to efficient installation and material utilisation.
The patented edge profile incorporates an expansion joint designed to accommodate moisture-related dimensional changes. This feature supports durable wall, ceiling and roof constructions.
Ergo Board can be used with timber or metal stud systems and is suitable for interior applications requiring fire protection and acoustic performance. Depending on the construction design, tested systems can achieve fire resistance classifications up to F90/EI90 and sound insulation values up to 65 dB.
