The winners, selected by an external jury, will be featured in a dedicated section of the Awards platform and highlighted across ArchDaily’s global channels.
The theme of the Student Project Awards approaches care from a collective perspective, focusing on the spaces that nurture better ways of living together: the architecture of coexistence.
Architecture has the power to bring people together, bridging differences of age, culture, and background. It can foster belonging, cultivate dialogue, and create environments where communities thrive in dignity and diversity. One essential interpretation of coexistence will be center-stage throughout the Student Project Awards: designing inclusive spaces for communities.
We invite students to interpret this theme through a conceptual architectural project that demonstrates how your design responds to the call for an Architecture of Coexistence.
Respectful of users, communities, and environments, and accessible and attentive to diversity.
Built to last in material, function, and relevance, and safeguarding people, ecosystems, and heritage.
Integrating multiple dimensions of design and impact, and responding effectively to needs and purposes.
Offering fresh ideas, approaches, or solutions, while making intelligent and responsible use of materials and systems.
Grounded in context, culture, and place, and creating meaningful, engaging, and inspiring experiences.
The Student Project Awards jury panel is a diverse and highly esteemed group of architects and professionals who represent different facets of the profession. Tasked with evaluating the shortlisted projects, the jury panel will bring their experience in the industry to the selection, ensuring that the winners accurately represent the Awards theme.
Participating in the Student Project Awards is an opportunity to gain international visibility and connect with the global design community. The projects selected by the jury will be showcased and celebrated throughout ArchDaily’s channels, in addition to receiving a cash prize.
Each winner will be featured in a special section within ArchDaily
Winners will be highlighted throughout an extensive winners campaign and editorial coverage via all ArchDaily channels
