Our curated films and panel discussions provide unique perspectives about the process behind architectural, graphic, and product design, urban and environmental issues, architectural photography, historic preservation, and much more. Our goal is to identify films with impassioned, human stories that appeal to a sophisticated design audience and those with a general interest in architecture and design.

ArchitecTorah is a collection of 178 short essays that investigate the Torah through the lens of architecture. Eahc essay briefly introduces a piece of architectural theory, a building, or a section of building code and then re-examines a well-known topic in the Torah to uncover new and insightful interpretations.

The Núcleo Descerimonioso de Teatro premieres the play Uma Branca Sombra Pálida, loosely inspired by the short story by Lygia Fagundes Telles. The play features dramaturgy by Vinicius Garcia Pires and is directed by Mario Spatizziani. The season runs from September 9 to 17, with performances on Saturdays at 9:00 PM and Sundays at 7:00 PM at the Teatro Commune. The photographs in Líquidas e Sólidas were taken over the course of 25 years. The first were captured with a Polaroid Image camera, which was quite popular in the 1990s. These photos are physically soft because that Polaroid ejected "liquid" images that required a few minutes to harden. In contrast, the more recent ones were taken with a new Fuji Instax, which produces firmer, less malleable photos.
Since its founding in 1937—85 years ago—Sordo Madaleno has shaped and been shaped by modern Mexico. The book Transformación Urbana. Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, presented by the Sordo Madaleno Foundation, documents key projects from three generations—Juan Sordo Madaleno (1916-1985), his son Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas (1956), and his grandsons Javier (1985), José Juan (1986), and Fernando Sordo Madaleno de Haro (1991)—featuring newly discovered material that makes up the firm's historical archive.
