“Agricultural Modernization and Collective Memory: 50 Species-Towns”

Since 2000, IAAC runs an international Lecture Series in which architects and experts from a variety of different disciplines present their work at the Institute. The lectures are open to the public, consisting of a high-quality cultural activity open to the city of Barcelona.

The Opening lecture of the 2022-23 Lecture Series will be held by Charles Waldheim, John E. Irving Professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and introduced by IAAC Director Daniel Ibañez and Academic Director Areti Markopoulou, who will welcome the new class of students to the Institute.

The lecture will be held both in presence, in the Main Hall of the Institute at C/ Pujades 102 in Barcelona, and in a synchronous Zoom session.
