THE HOUSE OF TIME for Marcel Proust

This year there will also be 100 years since the great French writer Marcel Proust died. He is the author of the famous book In Search of Lost Time.

This is a universal book, a book that explores human life in its relationship with Time. Are we aware of Time ? In what way we are ?

The House of Time is inviting architects to express the complexities of what Time means, in architectural terms, in the largest sense possible. Maybe if we succeed in addressing Time properly, we will also arrive at spatial configurations which are not simplistically just concerned with "space." So by the way of paying homage to a great writer, we will also have the chance to honor something that very rarely is addressed, consciously, by architects: Time.
