Daylight Awareness Week 2022 | Journey of Light: from Space to our Cells

The “Daylight Awareness Week” is organised in the context of the UNESCO International Day of Light. In addition to its core mission of connecting daylight experts and encouraging creativity and innovation, the Daylight Academy seeks to disseminate knowledge and create awareness of the impact daylight can have on human and nature. This series of online talks is part of this ongoing effort and is intended for non-specialists, citizens, students, and stakeholders interested in daylight research.

This year, the Daylight Awareness Week takes us on a long and fascinating journey to explore how light travels from the sun into our cells. A stellar line-up of speakers and a diversity of perspectives – from astrophysics and solar energy to architecture and forest ecology – are on the programme:

Day 1
10 May 2022 | 18:00-19:30 CEST
The Sun, Star of the Stars

Day 2
11 May 2022 | 18:00-19:30 CEST
Sunlight on Earth

Day 3
12 May 2022 | 18:00-19:30 CEST

Registration for each day and programme are available on the event website.
