Pier 1 : Unfolding the Borderland.

The Busan Arhcitecture Festival, which began in 2001, is an open organisation looking at the potential future direction of Busan Metropolitan City and works together with architects and citizens in Busan.

The Busan Architecture Festival is executing a variety of activities including competitions, academic seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and research projects. A part of these activities, the Busan International Architecture Design Workshop is an international academic event designed to facilitate the sharing of thoughts on current architectural issues in the city of Busan and the creation of ideas on how to tackle these issues.

This year, the Busan International Architecture Design Workshop is running a 72 hour online workshop under the theme “Pier 1 : Unfolding the Borderland.” We would like to invite you to the international stage to challenge your architectural improvisation and imagination.
