RAW Exhibition and Events Program
The exhibition - Raw - aims to bring to the spotlight the most uncommon moments, actions and ideas during the creative process. The aim is to find these moments during the design process in its raw state, to underline value in the labour, the craft, the care and the rigour - which are usually hidden from the eyes of the public.

Primitive Tools

The Primitive tools workshop aims to reveal the unconscious acts within personal design processes. It will explore the physical and metaphysical outputs from the process and search for common values within a broad range of creative journeys.
The Beauty of the Banal - A trip to the supermarket

The workshop will start a dialogue with the public about their everyday and banal routines - creating a discussion about the physical and social impacts of their environment - revealing the beauty in the banal from their neighbourhood to home.

Thursday Night Live: HNI

The discussion will start a dialogue with speakers presenting a value that cannot be seen in their design process - relating to the physical and metaphysical outputs from their process and how it links to the everyday.
Delivered in the form of a PechaKucha presentation each speaker will have 20 slides and has 20 seconds per slide. The PechaKucha format creates a platform for quick anecdotes, ideas and knowledge to be shared collectively. With only 400 seconds to present in, the focus will be placed on the communal discussion after the presentations. The event will be searching for common values within each speakers unique expression.
The exhibition welcomes everyone from all ages and backgrounds into the raw state of process work, and between you, ourselves as a collective and the work presented at RAW, we hope to open the conversation to everyone to better understand the moments in life where we find value and that turn our houses into homes, our streets into neighbourhoods, and our cities into communities.
