Iconic New York by Vladimir Belogolovsky

The Paul Rudolph Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce our ‘SpaceMaker Salon Series’ to continue a tradition that grew from Paul Rudolph’s desire to encourage debates about important issues surrounding modern architecture.

Our salon will be led by Vladimir Belogolovsky, author of the book New York: Architectural Guide: A Critic's Guide to 100 Iconic Buildings in New York from 1999 to 2020. His talk will cover iconic architecture in New York City over the last two decades and the current shift away from creating identifiable buildings. Mr. Belogolovsky will discuss his interviews of leading international architects to trace their intentions, inspirations and desires, and reflect on critical milestones in architecture since the late 90’s and how these events and projects shape architects’ new visions.

Mr. Belogolovsky will present in the Modulightor Gallery Duplex. Limited copies of New York: Architectural Guide: A Critic's Guide to 100 Iconic Buildings in New York from 1999 to 2020will be on hand for purchase and dedication over refreshments following the talk.
