A new series of meetings opens a conversation on minimalism between Isis Gomes, of the slow fashion brand Saint Studio, and Mariana Schmidt, partner at MNMA—a studio that integrates disciplines with a strong visual appeal—at the {CURA} headquarters this October.
On Thursday, October 3, 2019, {CURA}, a school dedicated to training architects and students in graphic representation, will launch its first "Paralelos Arquitetônicos" (Architectural Parallels). This series of meetings aims to bring together professionals and firms that engage with architecture without necessarily constructing physical spaces.
Beginning at 7:00 PM, this free event will host a discussion on minimalism featuring guests Isis Gomes, of Saint Studio, and Mariana Schmidt, partner at the firm MNMA. The 40-minute conversation, which seeks to integrate disciplines with a strong visual appeal—such as fashion and architecture—will conclude with an interactive Q&A session.
Saint Studio is a brand where timeless design and a minimalist aesthetic converge. The pursuit of simple, pure forms and a meticulous attention to detail create a sophisticated effect that reflects the Saint identity. Meanwhile, MNMA develops architectural projects with sensitivity, articulating elements in a simple and intimate manner.
