Inaugural lecture for the first cohort of the Technical Residency in Architecture, Urbanism, and Engineering at UFPB. For this occasion, we have invited Erminia Maricato, professor emeritus at FAUUSP, recipient of the Gold Medal from the Pan-American Federation of Architects' Associations, and national coordinator of BrCidades.
The lecture will also feature the participation of faculty members from the program and a presentation by Flávio Tavares on the municipality of Conde (PB), which is the subject of study for this edition.
Held between April and May, the first module of the program will address Urban Policy and the Right to the City, analyzing territorial production processes with an emphasis on the urban-rural interface, social dynamics, and the agents involved in this production. Doralice Sátyro Maia, Paula Dieb, Fernando Joaquim Ferreira, and Demóstenes Moraes will be the faculty members leading the initial sessions.
