This edition of Bang Bang magazine explores the programmatic adaptation of picadas in Chile, recognizing how they have endured over time and within the collective cultural memory. To this end, we analyze four picadas: La Piojera, El Quitapenas, Las Pipas de Einstein, and Los Canallas.
The conversation will focus on defining what a picada is from the perspective of various disciplines, how they claim a place in the collective memory, and how their unique qualities can be identified to rethink whether such an atmosphere can be replicated.
