AUH0545 LEARNING FROM THE COMMONS: CO-CITIES/CO-CREATING THE COMMON GOOD (Experimental course for the co-creation of cities, open to the general public and students outside the USP community)
Can any citizen co-create and co-manage cities? In this second edition, the course will examine experiences and practices of urban CO-CREATION, reflecting on CO-CITIES and the roles of citizens, architects, urban planners, and the state in building a city for the COMMON GOOD. The course will focus on Brazilian territorial and institutional contexts. Field visits and practical activities aimed at the CO-CREATION and CO-DESIGN of cities—in collaboration with society and for civic development—are planned (subject to COVID-19 pandemic conditions).
