The Estúdio Deriva was created in 2017 to propose a specific pedagogical project, focused each year on exploring new territories, based on the conviction that architectural learning occurs through contact with distinct urban cultures.
DESTINATION
The choice of the third destination for Estúdio Deriva was made in partnership with the faculty of the Geography, City, and Architecture postgraduate program, which used the United States as a research focus for three modules (2011, 2014, and 2018). Through this collaboration, we intend to leverage the prior knowledge acquired to deepen it during the preparatory course and experience it firsthand during the trip.
