The event, which has been running since June 8, concludes next Saturday, June 29, with a lecture by Marcelo Barbosa (Bacco Arquitetos). Held over four Saturday morning sessions, the program has also featured presentations by Cristiane Muniz (Una Arquitetos), Marcos Boldarini (Boldarini Arquitetos), and Marta Moreira (MMBB Arquitetos).
The course addresses the various aspects involved in an architectural project: the client's brief, the site, the proposed program, the design concept, the relationship with existing conditions, the dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, technical choices and material use, spatial layout and programmatic arrangement, formal synthesis, construction, challenges faced, and the occupation and appropriation of the finished project.
