Affective Ecologies is an independent learning environment for observing and experiencing the affective realities that drive us in relation to design and contemporary ecology.
The program explores affective critical theory and its implications for the worlds of design, architecture, urbanism, and ecology. We know that people can study, research, and transform the things they are connected to. Therefore, this independent course aims to connect participants with the deepest affections of the entity, being, or living thing that seeks to "ecologize." After all, we cannot project a transformation onto the world if we are not in tune with our own affections.
