Given the structural shift in the housing deficit, the rise in shared households, the inability of a large portion of the population to acquire housing through the market, and the preference of families for well-located housing over better living conditions, it is necessary to move toward a complete reformulation of housing policies in Chile.
In this context, the Department of Architecture and the Housing Institute of the University of Chile invite you to a seminar that will address these new forms of the housing deficit, progress in public policy at both central and local levels, and innovations in housing typologies to address these emerging needs.
