The launch of the 2024 Rogelio Salmona Latin American Architecture Prize will take place on Thursday, February 29.
Convinced of the need to contribute to the construction of inclusive and equitable cities in Latin America, the Rogelio Salmona Foundation established the 'Rogelio Salmona Latin American Architecture Prize: Open Spaces / Collective Spaces' in 2011. The prize recognizes architectural works that create significant civic spaces with a sense of place, contributing to the development of more livable cities.
The prize is Colombian in origin with a Latin American vision and is awarded biennially. It is clearly framed within the scope of social significance, thanks to its educational and cultural focus, which seeks to promote equity, technological innovation, and improved habitability in Latin American cities.
