The Fundação Bienal de São Paulo invites the city's residents, especially those who frequent Ibirapuera Park, to experience the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion in a new way. This initiative is part of the second edition of the Pavilhão aberto [Open Pavilion] program, running from May to November. It will feature conversations with a diverse range of guests—from architecture professor Guilherme Wisnik to Father Júlio Lancellotti—as well as workshops for children, guided tours of the Pavilion, and supplementary digital content.
The first session, "Moderno na arquitetura" [Modern in Architecture], takes place on Sunday, May 15. It will feature the "Birutas Voadoras" [Flying Windsocks] workshop with Samara Costa at 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM, designed for children aged 6 to 12. At 11:00 AM, there will be a talk with Guilherme Wisnik, writer and professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (FAU USP), followed by guided tours led by the Bienal team at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Additionally, the Pavilion will be open for self-guided visits from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (see details below).
