3D-printed construction is an emerging technology gaining traction worldwide, aimed at creating more efficient, appropriate, and environmentally friendly buildings.
This event aims to share initial experiences from Spain and Chile. It will present experimental tests conducted by the University of Bío-Bío—with support from Cementos Bío-Bío/Ready Mix and Sika in Concepción—as well as developments from the company Bemore3D in Valencia, Spain, which constructed the first 3D-printed house in Latin America. Furthermore, the event will discuss the future projections and applications of this technology.
The event is organized by the FONDEQUIP 170075 project of the Chilean Government's National Council for Science and Technology, and the Southern Node of the Interdisciplinary Center for Sustainable Productivity and Construction (CIPYCS), part of the Program for Strengthening and Creating Enabling Technological Capabilities for Innovation under Corfo's Technological Capabilities Management.
