On Tuesday, March 29, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (CET), a virtual reality talk will take place at the Meetaverse Cultural Center, hosted on the AltspaceVR application.
The great architects of history are almost always known for their drawings—sketches in notebooks, blueprints, and on napkins. For instance, in 1911, Le Corbusier embarked on his grand formative journey through Germany, Bohemia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, and Italy, sketching the landscapes and monuments he encountered. The result remains some of the most well-known travel sketches in history. Today, 111 years later, what cities could we add to this list? Would a journey through Columbia, Midgard, Cloudbank, Los Santos, and Yharnam be possible? Why not sketch the Midgar of Assassin’s Creed, the Berlin of Wolfenstein, the ruins of Gris, or the stunning Baroque architecture of Blasphemous? Which digital landscapes should the next masters of architecture be sketching?
