Themed around "50 Years of Learning from Las Vegas"—one of the most significant books on urban development, mobility, visual communication, architecture, and history—the 2nd Architecture and Urbanism Symposium at the FAAP University Center will take place from October 17 to 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Beyond discussing the historical and contemporary relevance of the work, which marks its 50th anniversary in 2022, the symposium aims to highlight and examine the role of women in the architectural discourse of the second half of the 20th century, drawing on the work of one of the book's authors, Denise Scott Brown, and one of Brazil's most prominent architects, Jô Vasconcellos.
