DigitalFUTURES is a global online platform that seeks to democratize access to education and foster the dissemination of critical and reflective thinking regarding architecture and design. Through free weekly events, it addresses the latest developments in computational design, robotic fabrication, and related fields, including theoretical, environmental, and social concerns.
In line with this mission, we launched Digital FUTURES in Spanish at the beginning of 2022, organizing conversation sessions and workshops with more than 40 Spanish-speaking designers and architects, all of which are available for free on YouTube.
This year, we are publicly extending an invitation to participate in our "Digital FUTURES 2022: One Planet" event. This gathering will bring together some of the most talented architects and educators from firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA), Foster+Partners, and Perkins+Will, as well as institutions like the Architectural Association (AA), UCL Bartlett, MIT, Harvard, and SCI-Arc, for the largest free online celebration of architectural computation and design. A "Digital Consortium" Doctoral Platform will be offered from June 13 to 24, and free workshops will run from June 26 to July 2. The Opening Ceremony of One Planet: Digital FUTURES 2022 will take place on June 25, and the Closing Ceremony will be held on July 3.
