Exhibition "Triennale Milano. A History in Posters"

In its seventh edition, the "Italian Design Day"—an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its global diplomatic-cultural network—will be celebrated in Rio de Janeiro with a series of events organized by the Italian Cultural Institute, in partnership with the Consulate of Italy, the Triennale di Milano Foundation, PUC-Rio, and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).

Following the success of previous editions, which involved over 450 Italian design experts—including designers, artists, curators, architects, academics, and journalists—and featured nearly 1,000 initiatives in more than 200 cities worldwide, the 2023 edition of "Italian Design Day" returns to an in-person format for the first time since the pandemic. This year’s theme is environmental sustainability, titled: "The Quality that Illuminates. The Energy of Design for People and the Environment." The initiative also serves as an opportunity to foster connections between industry professionals (designers, universities, entrepreneurs) and Italian institutions.
