MOVYT has created a tool to support, among other things, the design of Mobility Plans that municipalities must implement under the new Public Space Contribution Law. The launch will take place on Thursday, July 8, at 10:00 AM via our digital platforms, where participants will be able to download the cards for free.
When we think of public space, we often imagine a series of elements—plazas, streets, and parks—as separate and independent. However, from a mobility perspective, public space is "in motion." This means these elements relate to one another as we move through them. Consequently, walkways, crossings, bridges, and sidewalks become essential when considering a concept of public space that incorporates people's actual journeys.
