The film Concrete Love: The Böhm Family won the Goethe Documentary Film Prize. This German film, directed by Maurizius Staerkle-Drux, follows the daily routine of architect Gottfried Böhm, who, at 93, interacts with his family and colleagues while revealing the source of his inspiration. It delves into the fervor Böhm has developed over the years for design, family, and life. The jury praised the film, stating: “The documentary tells a multi-layered story about love, a passion for architecture, and four generations of German history. Through sensitive observations, intimate interviews, and visual explorations of an extraordinary architectural legacy, the film creates a lasting impression of both the buildings and the people.”
