The Ibero-American Society of Digital Graphics (SIGraDi) is a non-profit association that brings together architects, urban planners, designers, and artists working with digital media. Its primary objectives are to contribute to the academic debate on digital media and its applications, promote the production and advancement of scientific knowledge in general, and foster research and education within this context of significant technological transformation.
The 22nd SIGraDi Congress adopts "Technopolitics" as its theme. It is understood that all technology is conceived within cultural, economic, and social fabrics, and that it possesses political aspects in its formation and use. However, it is not uncommon for technologies to be considered autonomously as precursors to futures and unequivocal solutions for as-yet-unknown problems.
