Panel Discussion: CU Central Campus. Readings of a Living Heritage

CU Central Campus: Readings of a Living Heritage is a collection of 19 booklets that compile the history of the buildings that make up the original campus of UNAM's Ciudad Universitaria.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the central campus's inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage list, celebrated in 2017, a team of young architects, thesis students, and UNAM students undertook the task of researching and delving into the history of these buildings over their more than sixty years of existence. Written from a contemporary perspective, the compiled essays seek to share the value of CU with younger generations while simultaneously contributing to the historiographical collection addressing Mexican modern architecture.
