AsBEA-SP Seminar: Making the Center Happen

Various initiatives have been promoted by public authorities aimed at the recovery of São Paulo's central area, whether focusing on buildings, seeking ways to encourage private investment in the restoration of underutilized or vacant properties, or focusing on open public spaces, such as the squares remaining from road interventions that are the subject of an international public competition.

The responses have been modest so far, requiring broader discussions involving both public and private institutions in the search for a viable and sustainable path that restores the city's identity to its residents. In fact, this concern is not unique to São Paulo; it is shared by all major cities in the state and the country, which only strengthens the collective interest in the opportunity to bring the knowledge of various specialties and the perspectives of the entire production chain into the debate.
