The launch of Materia Arquitectura 22: Aire will take place on Thursday, November 24, at 6:30 PM in the Patio de las Rosas at the Los Leones campus. The event will feature Pedro Ignacio Alonso, guest editor of this issue and head of the PhD program in Architecture and Urban Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
This new edition of Materia Arquitectura examines, through various proposals, how the immaterial capacity of air manifests in architecture as a technological and constructive challenge, as well as a discursive issue that, in turn, has concrete, social, and material effects in the contemporary world.
A cocktail reception will follow the event.
