WinAReQ is the "International Workshop on Equinoctial Architecture," organized by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) at UTE University in Quito, Ecuador.
It is an architecture and landscape "Summer School" featuring prominent architects from around the world. Over two weeks, they work alongside faculty and students from across the globe on intensive projects that provide new perspectives on the students' holistic education. The "International Summer School WinAReQ" serves as a forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas and positions on current architectural, urban, and landscape issues. The workshop focuses on developing proposals and visions for the future of Quito through a multi-scalar, multidisciplinary, and multi-temporal approach.
THEME: Quito IN-TRANSITION. Between spaces from nature to architecture.
