Escola Coletiva de Projetos was conceived from a desire to deepen reflection, debate, and the (re)formulation of more critical thinking regarding architecture, urbanism, and construction, particularly as they relate to the Brazilian Northeast—its climate, customs, ways of life, and cities.
The goal is to exchange experiences, discuss, and reflect on contemporary architecture (in Aracaju, Sergipe, the Northeast, Brazil, and beyond) through a process of continuous learning, bringing together architects, urban planners, engineers, artists, and other interested (and interesting) professionals—students and practitioners alike—to broaden critical education.
Escola Coletiva de Projetos is a space dedicated to the deepening, experimentation, and practice of various design methodologies (architectural, urban, object, and other possible scales) through lectures, open courses, open lectures, and workshops. It is formed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from the fields of arts, civil construction, architecture, environmental sciences, law, and others.
