On November 27, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Escola da Cidade – School of Architecture and Urbanism will host the fourth and final meeting of its 2018 "Open Doors" program. The session will be led by architect and director of the Escola da Cidade, Ciro Pirondi, who will address the theme "What is the architect for?". Following the lecture, a guided tour of the exhibition "Exceptional Architecture – The Brazil Pavilion at Expo '70 Osaka" will be held with curator José Paulo Gouvêa and co-curators Alexandre Benoit and Rafael Urano Frajndlich. The exhibition is housed in the newly inaugurated Galeria da Cidade – Sala De Arquitetura, a space on the school's ground floor featuring 30 meters of glass facing the city, thereby fostering a relationship between the street and the gallery.
