The Escola Itinerante project is fundamentally rooted in the concepts of movement and dynamism. It is organized by architecture and urbanism students in Maringá, Paraná, who, in response to the shortcomings of their current educational methodology, decided to mobilize, viewing debate as a tool for reflection and changing the status quo.
The Varanda event is an offshoot of this project, featuring informal, peer-to-peer roundtables between students and professionals in architecture, urbanism, and related fields, held at various locations throughout the city.
Why the name "Varanda" (Veranda)? A veranda is a space of gradual transition between the interior and exterior. It offers a sense of freedom, a view of what lies ahead, and the opportunity to breathe fresh air—all of which align with our objectives.
