EARQ VII Congress: "Diversity and Convergence"

The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador Sede Ibarra invites you to participate in the seventh edition of the EARQ International Congress: "Diversity and Convergence in Public Space," taking place from July 26 to 30, 2021. The event will be held in a virtual format via a specialized online platform.

The event seeks to reflect on the act of planning sustainable and inclusive cities by understanding the role of public space as a promoter of social diversity, as it is the site where many of a society's aspirations and actions converge. Furthermore, it aims to create opportunities for academic knowledge exchange among faculty, researchers, professionals, and students through activities that allow for the presentation of conceptual and practical alternatives regarding urbanism and public space from all perspectives, with a clear focus on sustainability.

All attendees will have access to the specialized virtual event platform, where they can attend all keynote lectures and their chosen presentations; they will also have access to links redirecting them to the workshops. The event will be continuously monitored to ensure a smooth broadcast and interaction between attendees and speakers.
