The First National Meeting on Architectural Initiation is an event designed to establish an unprecedented space for dialogue, aimed at exchanging diverse teaching experiences, building a national overview of current university-level architectural education, and proposing new collective challenges regarding the process of introducing students to the discipline.
The initiative includes a seminar, an exhibition, and the launch of a publication, all presented in a virtual and digital format. Furthermore, the program is divided into thematic axes focused on first-year instruction. Each of these axes will feature talks and discussions with guests selected by the organizing committee, complementing the sessions of papers chosen by the scientific committee following an open call.
The Organizing Committee is comprised of the Expanded Cluster for Architectural Initiation at ARQ UC, led by professor José Quintanilla and including Pablo Andrade, Ninna Feijó, Laura Rosa González, José Manuel Monge, Manola Ogalde, Mercedes Patthey, Valeria Razeto, Leonardo Suárez, and María José Zelaya. Jessica Fuentealba (UBB) and Rodrigo Lagos (CA) are also members of the team.
